Product Purchase Terms & Conditions
The following Purchase Terms and Conditions apply to your purchase of online language courses and educational products from Sculin Online Language Education ('Sculin'). By purchasing a product from Sculin, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Online Course Purchases
1.1 Contract Term
All Sculin online courses are subscription-based and require an active subscription for access. Your access to the course materials begins on the Purchase Date and continues for the specified term. Subscription renewals are available for continued access.
1.2 Course Access and Expiry
- Access to the purchased online course is granted for the duration of the subscription.
- If a subscription is not renewed, access to course materials and any related services will be discontinued at the end of the term.
- Some services may require activation within a specific timeframe; failure to activate within the given period may result in loss of access without a refund.
1.3 Age Restrictions & Parental Consent
Sculin courses are available for students of all ages. However, for students under the age of 18, a parent or guardian must complete the payment process and consent to the enrollment. Sculin does not allow minors to make independent purchases.
2. Payment Terms
2.1 Single Payment Option
If you choose to pay the full price at once, the total amount will be charged to your selected payment method on the Purchase Date.
2.2 Payment Plan Option
If you opt for an installment plan, payments will be divided into equal monthly installments.
The first payment, along with any applicable taxes or fees, will be charged upon purchase.
The remaining balance will be charged in equal monthly payments without interest.
2.3 Payment Default and Suspension
If a payment is missed or declined, Sculin reserves the right to suspend course access until the outstanding balance is cleared.
If payments are not completed within a specified period, access may be permanently revoked.
2.4 Taxes and Fees
Applicable taxes and processing fees will be added to the total purchase price at checkout.
Prices may vary based on region-specific tax regulations.
3. Subscription Renewals and Cancellations
3.1 Subscription and Renewal Policy
Sculin does not have an automatic subscription renewal system. Students must actively request to renew their enrollment by contacting us. Once the request is received and payment is completed, the enrollment will be renewed accordingly. If a student does not initiate renewal, their enrollment will expire at the end of the current term.
3.2 Cancellation Policy
Students may cancel their enrollment at any time by contacting us directly. When requesting a cancellation, students must provide a reason for their decision. They may either request a refund, if applicable, or choose to freeze their enrollment for future use. Refund eligibility will be assessed on a case-by-case basis, depending on the circumstances of the cancellation and any applicable refund policies.
4. Refund & Exchange Policy
4.1 Refund Eligibility
Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase if no course materials have been accessed.
Refunds do not apply to subscriptions that have been partially completed or used.
4.2 Exchange Policy
If you wish to switch to a different course within 7 days of purchase, an exchange may be possible, subject to availability.
5. Intellectual Property & Usage Rights
All course materials, including videos, PDFs, and interactive exercises, are intellectual property of Sculin.
You may not share, distribute, or resell any course content.
6. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
